The stress of the election, holidays, and just everyday stress. It\u2019s enough to bring anyone down. That\u2019s why you need to get out and get some good, full, gut-busting laughs. Entertainment is fun; it\u2019s a chance for you to connect with the actors and relive the craziness that this life has thrown at us. What you and your soul needs is \u201cComedy Tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comedy tonight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Paradise Players has been working on a series of short plays designed to be quick, short, and oh-so funny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bought the rights to each one of these professionally written plays that will be using very talented actors and actresses. This will be the recipe for the laughter that we all need to start 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The play, called \u201cComedy Tonight,\u201d will be on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 2 and 5 p.m. Here is a quick highlight of the skits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJoggin\u2019 Along\u201d by Dory Kaiser: Comedy sketches involving two single women in exercise gear who jog on stage and pause long enough to talk about what\u2019s going on in their lives. Nothing is sacred as they discuss life with upbeat messages for seniors that they can relate to, laugh, and enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow Hear This\u201d by Dory Kaiser: A fast-paced comedy in which six characters on a cruise ship continuously misinterpret past messages, similar to the old telephone game. A sure hit for everyone to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGin & Tonic\u201d by John Clifford: This laugh-out-loud comedy offers a fresh look at the problems of senior dating. And even if you\u2019re not in the dating scene, it will bring you to your knees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHead or Feet First\u201d by Douglas Campbell: This zany 1940s-style mystery farce is sure to keep you laughing hysterically!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But wait! There\u2019s more! Also, in Paradise Players’ super entertainment fashion, there will be a musical number for \u201cComedy Tonight\u201d with several solos and dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These performances will be all the talk for days and months until, of course, the next \u201cPlatinum Girls\u201d comes back to the stage in late spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t have your tickets to \u201cComedy Tonight\u201d yet? It’s not a problem; there will be ticket sales at the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
