Every dollar raised through the walk directly supports research, education, and care initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parkinson\u2019s disease is a progressive neurological disorder that affects dopamine-producing neurons in the brain. While symptoms vary, many individuals experience movement-related challenges such as tremors, slowness, and muscle stiffness, as well as non-movement symptoms including hallucinations and cognitive impairment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ranch Fitness Center &amp; Spa is proud to support the Parkinson\u2019s community not only through this walk, but also through its ongoing commitment to wellness. The facility offers weekly fitness classes specifically designed for individuals with Parkinson\u2019s disease, focusing on improving strength, balance, and overall function. Classes such as \u201cPunch Out PD!\u201d and \u201cUnited Against Parkinson\u2019s!\u201d are led by supportive coaches trained to help participants combat symptoms through movement. By hosting the Moving Day Community Walk, The Ranch Fitness Center &amp; Spa aims to foster awareness, encourage healthy movement, and unite the community in support of those impacted by Parkinson\u2019s disease.
