On Monday, May 26, the Veterans Club will host two free Memorial Day ceremonies to remember and honor our men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
At 8 a.m., there will be a ceremonial flag raising at the Veterans Park Memorial. There will also be a short speech, and the presentation of service wreaths.

At 11 a.m. there will be another ceremony in the Recreation Center Ballroom. Highlights of the patriotic program include commemorating our Medal of Honor recipient in Ocala, and recognizing many of our local warriors. The Marion County Hometown Heroes banner project has expanded to the Ocala Downtown Square, and banners and photos of our distinguished local veterans will be displayed.
