On Top of the World residents have access to free advertising opportunities in World News, the community’s trusted source for news and information. Whether you’re looking to buy, sell, or trade items, share lost and found notices, or celebrate special life events, our classified ads and personal announcements provide a convenient way to connect with neighbors.

Residents can submit:

• Classified Ads – List items For Sale, post Wanted ads, or report Lost/Found items.
• Personal Announcements – Share wedding, anniversary, and birthday announcements with the community.

All advertising is free of charge for residents and appears in World News based on submission deadlines. See below for details on how to submit your ad or announcement.

Residents may post For Sale, Wanted, or Lost/Found ads at no cost, as long as they are not business-related.

Guidelines:

• Price Limit: Items listed for sale must be $500 or less. Items exceeding this limit (such as golf carts) may be listed, but the price will not be displayed.
• Prohibited Listings: Ads in the following categories will not be accepted:
  • Automobiles
  • Apartments or real estate
  • Financial services
  • Home or legal services
  • Timeshares

Residents can submit ads via email or drop-off at the World News mailbox.

Estate and tag sales must be registered and approved by Resident Services at Friendship Commons before advertising.

How to Register a Sale:

Residents must complete and submit an Estate/Tag Sale Form based on their community:

• On Top of the World (Central)
• Candler Hills
• Indigo East
• Weybourne Landing

Deadlines and Requirements:

• Forms must be submitted to Resident Services (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
• To be included in World News, a copy of the form must be submitted by the 10th of the month prior to publication.
